The OA Troop Representative is a youth liaison serving between the Lodge and his troop.

The Troop Representative is an official BSA leadership position, which qualifies for Scouting rank advancement.

All Troop Representatives are entitled to attend monthly Lodge Executive Committee (LEC) meetings.

Troop Representatives are appointed by the SPL with the approval of the Scoutmaster.
